In early 2025, during a networking event hosted by the Sporting de Charleroi football club, OXALYO CEO Frédéric Neus attended a presentation by the Morici family. He was immediately struck by their authenticity and determination.
"I got goosebumps," he admits, "because I saw truly good people who wanted to move forward."
The first contact wasn't with the company's leader, but with the mother, Sabrina. She insisted that her son, Mirko, the talented young General Manager, call Frédéric. The first step was a deep dive into all company processes. From production and HR to insourcing the accounting, every workflow was analyzed, simplified, and optimized.
2. How do you steer the ship? By mastering financial performance.
With streamlined processes, the focus shifted to finance. A finely-tuned Odoo configuration finally gave Gegolac a clear and precise view of its margins and profitability. Daily cash management, monthly closings, budgets, forecasts, and regular strategy meetings were implemented.
3. How do you prepare for the future? By building a growth strategy.
With a solid foundation, strategic discussions turned to growth, acquiring new markets, and evolving the business model. The transformation was underway.
Act III: How Can an ERP Become a Catalyst for Transformation?
Six months into the co-piloting mission, the established trust was so strong that Gegolac also tasked OXALYO with optimizing its ERP. Pierrick Fichefet, a technical expert, took the lead. Initially underutilized, Odoo became the company's true nervous system.
